The Tucson Unified School District (TUSD) Governing Board is considering a harmful sex education curriculum. The Board will meet one more time today, August 27, for public comments before it votes on the curriculum on September 10, 2019.
It sexualizes children by normalizing teen sex, encouraging promiscuity, and introducing inaccurate and confusing gender ideology. It teaches students that gender is fluid, and up to them to choose. This is neither scientific, nor accurate and has no place in the public education system.
The school board members need to hear your opposition to this harmful sex ed curriculum!
Children are already bombarded with sexually charged messages through TV, movies, media, music, advertisement, and more. They need medically accurate, scientific information at school, not more of the same distorted, ideological messages.
Action Needed:
- Sign the petition in opposition to the TUSD sex ed curriculum.
