SB1177: Public monies; gender transition; prohibition

SB1177 establishes a complete prohibition of federal and state monies that are used for gender transition procedures. This includes surgeries, prescription of puberty blockers and hormones, or other gender transition pharmaceuticals. Further, the bill prohibits subsidies, insurance reimbursements and insurance plans under AHCCCS from covering these procedures.
