Summary:
HB2311 is a common sense measure that imposes requirements on operators of AI chatbots to disclose AI interactions to minors, restrict certain content and engagement tactics for minors, and provide privacy and safety tools for minor account holders. Further, the bill prohibits generating sexual content involving minors, simulating human sentience or emotional dependence, and representing AI as professional mental health care.
