Dr. Dobson lived a life of extraordinary and transformational impact that bears fruit across generations. Without his visionary leadership and steadfast faithfulness, there would be no Center for Arizona Policy. It was his original inspired vision to see each state equipped with its own “Family Policy Council”—organizations dedicated to ensuring that government promotes and supports families, rather than undermining them. He applied biblical truth to issue after issue, and set the example for us all, demonstrating what it means to live a life wholly committed to the love and lordship of Jesus in every area.
Through his mentorship and example, Dr. Dobson raised up a generation of leaders who continue to champion the cause of faith, family, and freedom. His investment in the next generation of Christian advocates ensures that his impact will continue to shape our culture for decades to come

Today, Dr. Dobson is with Jesus, experiencing the fullness of joy in his Savior’s presence. Dr. Dobson used to end his talks by reading Matthew 25:21: “Well done, good and faithful servant . . .” Then he would say with heartfelt longing, “Oh, how I long to hear those words.” He has heard them now, and we rejoice for him.
Dr. Dobson – beloved husband, father, mentor, and faithful servant – your race is finished, your course complete, and your crown awaits. Thank you for showing us what it means to live life with unwavering devotion to Christ and unconditional love for his people. Your legacy will endure for generations, and your impact for eternity is immeasurable.
