CAP’s New Policy VP

Center for Arizona Policy (CAP) welcomes Leisa Brug to the effort of preserving life, family, and religious freedom in Arizona. Brug fills the key role of Vice President of Policy at CAP, working with legislators and allies on commonsense policies that serve Arizona families.

Brug comes to CAP with many years of experience in policy, including Policy Advisor to former Arizona Governor, Jan Brewer.

Her wealth of high-level experience included Director of the Governor’s Office on Energy Policy here in Arizona, and Energy Advisor to the National Governor’s Association. Brug also served as Chief of Staff at the California State Assembly, and ran a US Senate race in CA, as well as a public relations firm there.

Brug most recently worked on energy policy research at Arizona State University. Her extensive experience and varied expertise will complement CAP’s policy team and assist in bringing our work to the next level, reaching our goals for 2021 and beyond.

She is committed to the Lord and to CAP’s mission of advocating for Arizona families at the State Capitol.

Join me in welcoming Leisa Brug to the CAP family, and look for her and her work in the months and years ahead.
