Tony Snow has spent the last few years facing down and sometimes battling the White House Press Corps. But he’s also become an inspiration to millions of Americans because of another battle: cancer. For Snow, cancer has become a test as he tackles it with the same feistiness that he takes on the media. But he has come to view this test as a blessing– as a chance to embrace life more fully and abundantly.

His unflappable optimism and sense of humor are tempered with an all-too-real understanding of how love, faith, and determination can push back even the toughest and most frightening news. Snow provides an unabashed, enthusiastic perspective on the things that really matter.

You can read an inspiring article by Tony Snow in Christianity Today entitled "Cancer's Unexpected Blessings."

“God bids us to choose … Can we surrender our concern in things
that don’t matter so that we might devote our remaining days
to things that do?”
– Tony Snow
