Prayer cleanses the sinner, heals the infirmed, wins wars, changes hearts, restores relationships, strengthens families, plants churches, impassions the timid, moves kings, and gives birth to nations. Prayer is the conversation between a mortal and his Maker. Prayer is both praise and petition. Prayer is the admission of human weakness and dependence on the Almighty.
We are to pray without ceasing. We are to pray for one another. We are to pray for our leaders. We are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We are to pray for our enemies. We are to pray. The Center for Arizona Policy invites the faithful to pray for America and to pray for Arizona. We invite you to join us in praying for the Sanctity of Life, the Sanctity of Marriage, and the Protection of our Religious Liberties. We invite you to pray for our leaders and for righteousness in the land. It is not the ingenuity or plans of man, but the wisdom and power of God that assures victory.
|

The Call to Prayer |
Words of Inspiration |
"First of all, I urge that... prayers... and thanksgivings, be made... for all who are in authority, in order that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth." -1 Timothy 2:1-4
"If My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray, and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
- 2 Chronicles 7:14
"Seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf; for in its welfare you will have welfare." –Jeremiah 29:7

Do you know why I often ask Christians, 'What's the biggest thing you've asked God for this week?
I remind them that they are going to God,
The Father, the Maker of the Universe,
The One who holds the world in His hands. What did you ask God for? Did you ask for peanuts, toys, trinkets,
or did you ask for continents? I want to tell you … it's tragic!
The little itsy-bitsy things we ask of our Almighty God.
Sure, nothing is too small -- but also nothing is too big.
Let's learn to ask for our big God some of those big things He talks about in
Jeremiah 33:3:
'Call unto Me and I will answer thee,
and show thee great and mighty things
that thou knowest not.'"
