Encourage the Glendale City Council to Oppose Expanded Gambling!

The Glendale City Council will meet on Tuesday to decide whether to oppose gambling expansion. The Council will consider a resolution opposing the proposal by the Tohono O’odham Nation to build a casino on the corner of 91st and Northern Avenues. The Council needs to hear from Glendale residents who oppose the proposed new casino.
 
ACTION NEEDED:

  1. Attend the City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 7, at 5:30 p.m. at 5850 W. Glendale Avenue. Politely let the Council know that you oppose the proposed casino. The agenda and information about how to speak at the meeting are available through the City’s website.
  2. Contact the City Council by telephone at (623) 930-2249 and politely explain that you are opposed to the proposed casino.
  3. Forward this email to other Glendale residents and ask them to contact the City Council and attend the meeting.
