Who's "Got the Juice?"

At the state legislature, nothing gets accomplished without strategy and influence. While it might seem obvious, it takes more than just a great idea to get things done, especially if you are a lobbyist or advocate.

Essentially, you've got to have some "juice" to get things done. Yesterday, Arizona Capitol Times named CAP President Cathi Herrod as one of the main people with "juice" or influence at the legislature.

One insider told the reporter that Cathi and her team have "ran the table...when other lobbyists were playing defense."

This big compliment is really a reflection on the amount of support and teamwork that surrounds Cathi. While there's no doubt she's talented and experienced, she'll be the first to tell you that it is a team effort that includes the entire staff at CAP as well as all the supporters and families encouraging us on.

This year's legislative race has started, and much like the marathon this weekend, it's going to take a lot of effort and perseverence to finish the race. At CAP, we're hoping and praying that we'll continue to have the "juice" to defend families and protect religious liberties in Arizona.
